Akagera National Park, on Rwanda’s eastern border with Tanzania, features Central Africa’s largest protected wetland, spanning over 1,000 square kilometers of lakes, swamps, savannahs, and highlands. The park is home to the Big Five, diverse primates, nocturnal animals, and over 525 bird species.
